Engine bay detailing in Dallas

Mobile engine bay cleaning, done in your driveway. Degreased, cleaned and dressed until the bay looks finished, not just wet — with every electrical component covered before anything gets damp.

Why bother

Why clean an engine bay at all?

The engine bay is the one part of the car nobody looks at until it matters — a sale, an inspection, a leak. And then it matters a lot.

You can finally see a leak

Under years of grime, a weeping gasket looks like every other dark patch. On a clean bay, fresh oil shows up the same day it starts.

It's worth money at sale time

A buyer or an appraiser opens the hood. A bay that's been looked after tells them the rest of the car probably has been too.

Grime holds moisture

Caked-on dirt and road salt sit against terminals and metal and keep them damp. Taking it off takes the corrosion risk with it.

Done without soaking anything

Alternator, fuse box, intake and exposed electronics get covered before a drop of water goes near them. No pressure-washing into connectors.

The difference

Same bay, same angle, no filters

Drag the slider. Leaves and years of dust on one side, dressed plastics on the other.

Pricing

Two ways to do it

Both engine bay cleans take about 50 minutes. Which one your car needs depends on how long it has been since the last one.

FAQ

Questions, answered

The things people ask before letting anyone near their engine.

Is it safe to wash an engine bay?

Yes, when it's done properly. We cover the alternator, fuse box, intake and any exposed electronics before anything gets wet, and we never blast water at high pressure into connectors. This is the part people get wrong at home.

What's the difference between the regular and the steam clean?

The regular clean uses degreaser, brushes and a controlled rinse — it handles normal dust and light grime. Steam gets into the seams, hoses and tight corners without soaking the bay, so it's the one for baked-on oil and years of build-up.

Will it fix an oil leak?

No — and we won't pretend otherwise. What a clean bay does is make a leak obvious. Once the old grime is gone, fresh oil shows up immediately instead of hiding in the dirt.

How long does it take?

About 50 minutes. It's the quickest thing we do, so it's easy to add on to a Full Detail while we're already there.

Do you dress the plastics afterwards?

Yes. Once it's dry we dress the plastics and hoses so the bay comes out looking finished, not just wet.

Do I need to book it on its own?

No. Most people add it to a Full Detail, but we'll come out for just the engine bay if that's what you need.
