Progressive wet sanding and a machine polish take the yellow out of the lens. No removal, no replacement, and you can see the difference the same night.
The haze is UV damage on the outside of the lens. It scatters your beam before it ever reaches the road.
An oxidised lens throws light sideways instead of down the road. Clearing it puts the beam where the reflector was designed to send it.
A replacement unit on a modern car runs into the hundreds, plus fitting. Restoration is $90 and takes an hour.
Two cloudy yellow lenses make a clean car look tired from thirty feet away. It is the cheapest thing that changes how the front end reads.
Polishing alone and the haze is back in months, because the UV never stopped. We seal the lens afterwards so the clarity holds.
Drag the slider. No new parts, no trickery — that is the original lens underneath.
About an hour, at your home or office. No removal and no new parts.

What restoration can and cannot do.
If the damage is on the surface — yellowing, haze, fine scratches — yes. If the lens is cracked, fogged from the inside, or the reflector is burnt, no amount of polishing the outside fixes that. Send us a photo and we will tell you straight.
No. The whole job is done with the unit in place, which is why it takes an hour and costs $90 instead of a workshop day.
That depends on the sealant and the sun. Polishing without sealing brings the haze back within months — the UV that caused it never went away. We seal the lens, and parking in shade buys you longer.
The $90 covers both. It would be strange to do one.
Yes, and that is the usual way. It is an hour on top of whatever else we are doing.
Clear lenses help, but we do not do inspections and cannot promise an outcome. What we can say is that a restored lens puts far more light on the road than a yellow one.
