What restoration can and cannot do.

Will it work on my headlights?

If the damage is on the surface — yellowing, haze, fine scratches — yes. If the lens is cracked, fogged from the inside, or the reflector is burnt, no amount of polishing the outside fixes that. Send us a photo and we will tell you straight.

Do you take the headlight off the car?

No. The whole job is done with the unit in place, which is why it takes an hour and costs $90 instead of a workshop day.

How long before it goes yellow again?

That depends on the sealant and the sun. Polishing without sealing brings the haze back within months — the UV that caused it never went away. We seal the lens, and parking in shade buys you longer.

Is it just both headlights, or per light?

The $90 covers both. It would be strange to do one.

Can you do it on the same visit as a detail?

Yes, and that is the usual way. It is an hour on top of whatever else we are doing.

Will it pass inspection afterwards?

Clear lenses help, but we do not do inspections and cannot promise an outcome. What we can say is that a restored lens puts far more light on the road than a yellow one.
